Tucked away along Malcolm X Avenue, Stonehaven Restaurant has quietly carved out a reputation as one of the more refined spots in the city to slow down and enjoy a proper meal. The space strikes a nice balance between upscale and welcoming, featuring plenty of comfortable seating and a pretty garden right in the middle that makes it easy to forget you are right in the middle of Kampala. Whether you are swinging by for a relaxed morning plate of stacked pancakes and waffles or pausing the workday hustle for a plate of stuffed chicken breast and roasted potatoes, the kitchen keeps things consistently satisfying.

It is also a popular spot for after-work drinks with colleagues, especially if you fancy a strong glass of sangria or a well-mixed cocktail from the bar. The food was nice. The portions were good too. The waiters weren't always close by to attend to us promptly. This needs to be improved by having a call button on the tables.

The server was very attentive and did his best to serve us well. Thank you, Alex! The food presentation was nice, and everything was yummy! The potato wedges were fresh and crispy, and so was the seafood. We enjoyed our time here!

I loved the aesthetics and atmosphere...the open plan of the place very lovely. And the appetisers was really tasty. Our waiter was very kind and good to us. I just hope we get a bigger coffee selection especially mochas on the menu.

We had an excellent experience here. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. Our service was great. I watched as a waitress brought out a coat rack for two gentlemen, so they could hang up their coats. They have a more than decent selection of wines at decent (but not amazing) prices. But the best thing was the food. Both of our dishes were nothing short of amazing.

The atmosphere is exquisite👌we had lunch there and trust me it was delicious though I was disappointed with their plater as the quantity was too little for the price but definitely it was tasty. We were served by Joan, she was kin to everything, supported in menu recommendations, she's awesome👌. The cocktail was giving and their Lasagna is the best around and definitely we shall come again
