Tales during the day is a quite spacious place with secluded gazebos that give you peace and time to do your own thing. Its in the heart of kampala, so easily accesible for a quick lunch and quite conversation if work in the nearby suburbs.. The food is great, but service is slow. I bet this is different for the night hangers.. I will surely go back for my quite time and unbothered thoughts...

My visit to Tales was thoroughly enjoyable. The atmosphere was perfect—vibrant yet comfortable, with great music that allowed for conversation. The staff were a real highlight: attentive, friendly, and genuinely seemed to enjoy their work, which made the experience feel welcoming. My drinks came promptly, even on a busy night. The overall vibe of the place is exactly what you want for a night out in Kampala—sophisticated but not pretentious. I left having had a really good time and will definitely be back with friends.

We had a great night here with our group. The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed, and being seated by the fire pit outside made the experience even better. Every Wednesday is quiz night then Thursday I'm back for live band it has been awesome the menu, the vibe the staff Maria thank you for taking care of me she is such a wonderful person. I’ve always visited Tales Lounge and Gardens, it offers a delightful dining experience with great meals and meat platters every last Saturday of the month prepared and served by an exceptional staff. The ambience is inviting, complemented by lush gardens and ample parking space. Don't miss out on Thursdays when they feature a really nice band crew, adding to the overall charm of the place. It's a perfect spot for enjoying good food, good music, and good company.
